Get paid for going shopping

MYSTERY shoppers are wanted in Guernsey.
Claire Boscq-Scott, who owns 4 Star Services, which already runs a mystery shopper service in Jersey, wants to bring the format to the Guernsey high street.
She envisaged recruiting up to 10 islanders for her team and hoped to have everything in place so that the service could start to be offered in late March or April.
‘We’ve had a huge response to our recruitment drive. I was not expecting the sort of interest we’ve received, but it’s really encouraging.’
Mrs Boscq-Scott will be in the island next week to conduct interviews and speak to local businesses about providing a service before returning to carry out mystery shopper training.
She has been operating the service in Jersey for the past six months and its success has led her to want to replicate it in Guernsey.

Claire said that she didn’t expect the huge response to her recruitment drive. In my 20 years of experience of the mystery shopping industry (fieldwork, supervision and online at http://www.themysteryshoppingclub.co.uk), I’m 100 percent sure that as a result of this news article she will be totally inundated with applications! It really is one of those dream jobs that at first seems to good to be true, but isn’t.

Yeah I did it once, and it wasn’t as fun as it sounds. I had to basically lie to someone’s face for 10 minutes and remember my back story, which was surprisingly difficult.

Sounds as if you had a tricky one Dean. It’s a LOT easier once you’ve got a couple of visits under your belt and most visits are very easy anyway.
