Randalls sells Vauxlaurens Brewery
Monday 8th February 2010, 1:00PM GMT.
AFTER more than 140 years, Randalls has sold its brewery on St Julian’s Avenue for £1.4m.
Randalls managing director Ian Rogers said the company was sad to see the building go.
‘It is very old and has been with the company for a long time,’ he said.
‘We are pleased with the money it raised, which will be invested.’
Randalls moved to new premises at La Piette in 2007.
Vauxlaurens Property Holdings Ltd has bought the site, but refused to comment on their plans for it.

However to me it said “This is Guernsey, it’s smells and it’s people. from the smell of Vraic in sun, the fish-market. the smell as mentioned- all gone all lost to greedy enterprise.
‘I don’t blame the entrepreneurs, But I do blame our gutless States; too bent on their own self importance to be bothered with our Islands welfare. What a nasty lot of has-beens.
