CHRIS SIMPSON’S senior national title dream is over for another year.
The 2009 British under-23 squash champion had won through his opening match at the British Closed Championships at SportCity Manchester, but was beaten yesterday in four sets, by the tournament fourth seed and world number 10, Adrian Grant.
In a long match lasting two minutes short of an hour, the Guernseyman, seeded 11 for the event, went down 11-8, 12-14,11-8, 11-5.
