THE Guernsey Motorcycle and Car Club was blessed with a mild day for the eighth trial of their winter championship trials series.
Even though conditions were drier than of late, the sections set was no walkover.
For this event, sections were set in various locations around the west of the island with contrasting terrain including rocky beaches, slopes with slippery roots and crevasses and tight downhill paths which tested all riders to their full.
Any rider producing less than 100% would and did gain penalty points.
The morning as always had the juniors and pre 65 bike class eager to take on the latest challenges.
Once again, the intermediate class saw Sam Bott, Ben Le Page and Chris Le Page in close combat, these three young riders giving their all, keeping the sections official observers fully alert.
Some of the sections set for these lads were used for the Clubman riders later in the day, just highlighting the standard they are achieving.
