A 61-YEAR-OLD man was taken to hospital after his Perodua Kelisa collided with a BMW at Venture Garage, St Peter’s, on Saturday.

The silver BMW was travelling along Rue de L’Eclet towards the Route du Longfrie when the accident happened.

All the emergency services attended after receiving a call at 2.45pm.

Ambulance incident officer John Atkins said they carried out a controlled extraction from the silver Perodua.

‘The man was complaining of a pain in his neck, so we fitted a collar and strapped him to a spinal board.’

Mr Atkins said the Fire & Rescue Service had been called in case the roof needed to be cut off the car.
