SCHOOL children are once again being given the opportunity to have their say on local and national issues.
The 2010 Primary Schools Congress was launched yesterday at St Mary & St Michael School.
Organised by Education and Health and Social Services, the event will be held on 10 March at the Peninsula Hotel.
The congress will look at the issues facing the island’s children and concerns from around the world. It follows on from the secondary school Commonwealth Youth Summit held earlier this month.
Several students from the summit will be present at the congress to help children with their discussions.
Education’s lifelong learning manager Alun Williams organised the congress.
He said last year’s had proved valuable as some of the suggestions had already been implemented.
