Boulder through windscreen leaves Genats residents fearful
Monday 8th March 2010, 2:29PM GMT.

A LES GENATS estate resident, whose car window was smashed with a boulder the size of a football, has been left fearing for her family and her property.
Deborah Ingrouille (pictured) with son Kian, 8, and daughter Krystina, 19, complained that a neighbour on the estate terrorised them, yet claim the police and Housing Department have done little to help.
The latest attack, Krystina Ingrouille explained, left the family car filled with the shattered windscreen.
βThe car was covered in glass β it was even on the back seats and in the boot β I was pulling it out of the dashboard and steering wheel. The hole was not the sort made by kids throwing stones. It was the size of a large football.β
Deborah Ingrouille said that in the 25 years she had been on the estate she had never had to deal with such torment.
A police spokesman confirmed that the incident had been reported and investigations were ongoing.
A Housing Department spokesman said it expected tenants to abide by the terms and conditions of a statutory tenancy agreement that emphasised the need to respect the right of neighbours to peace and privacy, and to act in such a way as to not cause distress to others.
