The John Wesley Stone – ‘Sarnia Cherie’
Wednesday 17th March 2010, 4:51PM GMT.
This clip of the John Wesley Stone in action was shot by Chris Denton.
The video was shot at Gizzard studios, London, in January 2010 and shows the guys (and gal) recording their first album, ‘Doggone’.

The John Wesley Stone on stage at the Thomas de la Rue in December, 2008.
The John Wesley Stone formed in 2007, initially comprising Hillbill (acoustic and electric guitars, electric bass, tea chest bass, harp, vocals), Lynchburg (drums/vocals) and Tinshack (guitar, banjo, mandolin, harp, kazoo, vocals). These three were joined in 2008 by Nashville (fiddle, guitar, keys, vocals).
Combining country, skiffle, gospel, rockabilly and Americana with a raw, stripped-back punk energy, their original songs and live shows have been stoking up audiences everywhere from pubs, clubs and living rooms to backyards, festivals and street parties.
They recently supported Radio 2 DJ Mark Radcliffe’s band The Family Mahone.
