IT HAS been a non-stop 10 years for garden and interior furniture business Avant Garden.

Since being set up by Nick Martel in 2000, it has had no fewer than six different homes.

Avant Garden’s current location, the marquee at Sausmarez Manor, has been its base since 2007.

It was recently named as the most-loved furniture business in the UK following a nationwide search organised by The Best Of, to find the country’s favourite local shops and companies.

The campaign asked people to post testimonials and recommendations about businesses on its websites.

The same search also saw Avant Garden named second most loved garden centre and nursery, third most loved interior design business and the second most loved small business in Guernsey behind Sueco Outside Catering.
