Beware of the EU

THE European Union poses the biggest threat of all to Guernsey, according to the Chief Minister.
Deputy Lyndon Trott (pictured) said so after his mid-term ‘Half Way House’ speech to the Institute of Directors in response to a question from the audience on the influence of EU tax directives and regulation.
‘I see it as the biggest threat of all,’ he said.
He contrasted the island’s links with Europe to those closer to home.
‘Our relationship with the UK is better than it has ever been,’ he said, before listing MPs he had met only that week.
