Orange remain on course for the crown

AS THE Praxis Winter Netball League begins to wind down the action is heating up.

The teams have now been split for the divisional titles.

The top four sides in each division are playing for the title as division winners and the remaining four bottom teams are competing for the division plate.

And there have been some unexpected results recently.

But there was nothing out of the ordinary when Division One leaders Nerine Orange kept themselves on course for the title as they comfortably took care of Nerine Green.

The scores were close to being level after the first quarter.

However, the partnership of centre Kristy Webber and the unstoppable goal-scoring machine that is Denise Bourgaize tilted the match in Orange’s favour as they ran home victors 33-16.
