Demore tipped to go all the way

THREE of Guernsey’s best boxers are taking another step along the road of the ABA Championships at Broadplain ABC in Bristol tomorrow.
Western Counties champions Gage Demore and Adam Baker are meeting their Southern Counties counterparts in the Junior Pre-Quarter Championships while Bradley Watson is in the Senior Pre-Quarter Championships.
The hugely promising Demore is fighting in the 57-60kg weight category class five for fighters born in 1993 against Joe Pigford of Southampton’s well-respected Golden Ring ABC.
Demore reached this far by taking care of Sturminster’s Claude de Lange in the last round.
Guernsey’s head coach Graham Guilbert is expecting great things from his young fighter.
