GUERNSEYMAN Simon Bone has been more than gripped by election fever.
The 34-year-old former Elizabeth College pupil and Channel Islands entrepreneur is on the campaign trail in the UK himself, hoping to be elected as a Conservative party councillor.
He is one of three people standing for the Tories in Clerkenwell, a ward in the borough of Islington, London.
UK local elections take place every four years and this year will fall on the same day as the 6 May General Election.
Each resident gets three votes for the local election and Mr Bone has been canvassing door-to-door to ensure they go his party’s way.

I agree GG what relevance does that have? I bet it wouldnt of state former Le Mare De Carteret pupil if that had been the case.

Auntie GP/GG – the Press will often put a person’s school into a story since it helps to identify them. And yes, we would have put La Mare de Carteret if he had gone there.
