WATCHING Belgraves will have left Blanche Pierre Lane respectful but not fearful of the 2010 Jeremie Cup champions St Paul’s.

A week ahead of the biggest game in CI club football, the Jersey champions did enough to deservedly win the Jeremie on their opponents’ home patch, but there was certainly no wow factor in the manner of their winning performance.

St Martin’s pushed them all the way with a performance high on effort and spirit.

But, in the attacking third they did not have the spark or support to really trouble the consistently excellent Stuart Andre and his colleagues at the back.

That said it was a soft goal which won the game for the Caesarean Saints in gold.

    I think Bels can beat St Pauls because they have much more fire power than St Martins and that was the difference between the two Saints on Saturday
