No Glamour puss

BRADLEY WATSON and fellow Amalgamated BC prospects Gage Demore and Adam Baker have taken a further step down the road to winning their respective national ABA titles.
And in exhilarating fashion Watson, 19, sent Charles ‘The Cat’ Hoy home with his tail between his legs with a superb points win in Bristol.
‘He [Hoy] was well gutted,’ said Watson’s coach, Graham Guilbert,
Hoy, from Repton, had beaten Watson in Guernsey last month, but the self-titled ‘Glamour Boy’ produced his best ever performance to beat Hoy by a relatively comfortable 12-6 margin, this despite surrendering a point for holding.
‘We had a game plan and it worked well,’ said Guilbert.
