Paul Murphy of Funwarehouse. ONLINE fancy dress costume business Funwarehouse is reaping efficiency benefits at its new premises.

The Guernsey-based company moved into the former Guernsey Press offices at the Braye Road Industrial Estate earlier this year after obtaining change of use permission towards the end of 2008.

Paul Murphy (pictured), managing director of Star Leisure, which owns the costume business, said the company was pleased finally to be operating completely under one roof.

At its previous base at Dyson’s Quarry, South Side, St Sampson’s, its office and warehouses were in three buildings whereas the new premises, which have around 2,000sq. ft of space over two floors, also boast a dedicated collection point, a showroom where islanders can view some of the more seasonal costumes and free use of PCs in reception that allows customers without computer access to place and collect orders.

‘We have benefited greatly from being under one roof and being in a more convenient location,’ said Mr Murphy.
