MEN’S basketball’s Division One witnessed a real humdinger of a match between Focus HR Solutions and Le Mont Saint Fiat last night at Beau Sejour.
Focus had their noses in front for the first half of the game before Fiat came back to eventually take the honours by 18 points as the proceedings slowed up in the fourth quarter.
‘It was a really enjoyable game and it was nice to have three close quarters,’ said Fiat’s captain Pete Beausire.
‘Fourth quarter we had the benefit of Mikey [Mike Beausire] who was cleaning up under the basket and was able to give us quick points which allowed us to build up a lead going into the end of the game.
‘It was also a very clean game compared to some games we have played recently.’
