Alarm Bels ringing
Friday 16th April 2010, 2:30PM BST.
BELS boss Ian Champion wishes that the Guernsey FA Cup final had never taken place as he is struggling with injuries ahead of tomorrow’s Upton with St Paul’s at the Track.
Bels lost 2-1 to Rangers in the final on Tuesday 6 April in front of a bumper crowd at Foote’s Lane.
Champion (pictured) was at pains to state that he has no sour grapes about the result and that Rangers fully deserved the victory.
But after a highly competitive match, he is struggling with a crippling injury list that threatens to scupper his side’s chances tomorrow.
‘I wish the FA Cup final hadn’t happened,’ he said yesterday.
