RESIDENTS of Le Bordage Estate, St Sampson’s, have welcomed the news that they are to get road humps.

A notice was put up on the estate last week telling residents that three would be installed on 8 May.

Each hump will be 500mm in width and 50mm in height and they will be outside number 14, 16 and 18.

Resident Marilyn Le Prevost, 47, said it was good news for everyone – especially for her family.

‘My son is profoundly deaf and quite often he crosses the street and suddenly stops in his tracks as cars and motorbikes are going flat out,’ she said.
