VOLUNTEERS spent yesterday cleaning up the former post office in Smith Street for an exhibition of work by a top photographer.
About 15 people helped to make the space fit to house a video and photo display by Tim Hetherington, which will be one of the main attractions of next month’s Guernsey Photography Festival.
Mr Hetherington will visit on 8 May to talk about his work and the festival will include other events such as exhibitions and workshops for children and adults.
Festival director Jean-Christophe Godet said they wanted the events to have a broad appeal and to get people interested in photography so most of the workshops would be free.
