Priaulx in huge test of stamina
Thursday 22nd April 2010, 2:30PM BST.
ANDY PRIAULX faces two hugely contrasting endurance races within the space of a couple of days this weekend to conclude an extraordinary week.
Having caught a ferry to St Malo on Monday, the three-time world touring car champion will today be driving from a two-day test in Magny-Cours, France, to the Nurburgring in Germany to compete in the third VLN Endurance Championship four-hour race with his Team BMW Motorsport.
Once that is over, he will take to the roads again and make his way to Calais to get back to the UK via the Euro Tunnel.
He is due to arrive in London at around midnight on Saturday and six hours later he will be up to tackle the Virgin London Marathon from the celebrity start line at 9.45am.
All this among the current travel disruptions throughout Europe.
