LONG-AWAITED revenge is in the offing for one member of today’s Guernsey men’s team on darts inter-insular day in the marquee at the KGV.

Five years ago, Paul Leale’s double shot hit the wrong side of the wire when he was on the verge of victory, and he could only watch helplessly as his opponent won the match on the very next dart.

So, as Guernsey captain Mick Le Gallic explained, tonight is the time for Leale to set the record straight.

‘He hasn’t played since then and he’s been getting fired up for it this week. We have our fingers crossed that he will get his revenge on the day.’
