HEALTH AND SOCIAL SERVICES has been forced to explain today why it spent £13m. more than it was allocated by the States last year.
Chief Minister Lyndon Trott provoked a heated reaction when he revealed the figure in summing up a debate late yesterday afternoon.
Department minister Hunter Adam has been given permission by the Bailiff to make a statement to the Assembly this morning on the issue.
