ORGANISERS of the first Guernsey Photography Festival report excellent public feedback.

The month-long festival, which was launched on Monday evening, will see events taking place all over the island.

It includes an exhibition of work by world-renowned photographers Simon Norfolk and Josef Koudelka at Market Square.

The level of interest among islanders impressed festival director Jean-Christophe Godet.

‘I have actually had a lot of feedback and I am very, very pleased with everyone’s reaction,’ he said.
