AT LEAST six vehicles were broken into and vandalised at Millbrook Estate, St Peter Port, over the weekend.
Police were called after people discovered the damage on Monday morning.
Vandals targeted Tina Mourant’s car, ripping a panel off to get to the wires under the steering wheel and trashing the inside of the car.
‘The policewoman said it looked like they tried to take it for a joyride and could not get it to work,’ she said.
* Police said no arrests had been made and anyone with information should call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or the station on 725111.
