Motorcyclist may have broken ankle in Cobo crash

AN 18-year-old motorcyclist was taken to hospital with a suspected broken ankle after his motorbike collided with a car yesterday.
The incident took place at about 12.15pm on Cobo Coast Road.
It is understood the collision occurred as a yellow Suzuki Ignis saloon was turning from the road into the car park opposite the Mandarin Garden Chinese restaurant. The motorbike was heading towards Cobo Chip Shop.
The rider was treated at the scene for spinal injuries as a precaution before being taken to hospital.
The 44-year-old car driver was treated at the scene and did not need to go to hospital.
