Jersey boss Welsh predicts open game

TONY VANCE is not expecting anything unusual from his opponents in tomorrow’s Muratti Vase at Springfield.
His opposite number, Jersey coach Jon Welsh, has named his squad, which Vance describes as ‘containing the usual suspects.’
‘There are no real surprises in there, it is a solid team,’ said the Guernsey coach.
‘I know quite a lot about these players and my lads have come across them on a number of occasions.’
The 18-man Caesarean squad includes eight of St Paul’s all-conquering side, including dangerous front men Mark Lucas, Ross Crick and Craig Leitch.
