A TEA PARTY at St Sampson’s High brought two generations together.
Pupils at the Baubigny schools were asked to invite family members who lived through the Second World War to a special party.
They were treated to tea, cake, wartime songs and entertainment yesterday afternoon at the event organised by the students.
‘We do a couple every year,’ said key stage four achievement manager Ann-Marie McCarley.
‘We do one at Christmas and one at Easter. With it being so close to Liberation Day, it was a perfect opportunity. We do it because the kids really enjoy it. ‘
