NICK SAUNDERS headed a string of Sarnian successes at the annual Jersey Liberation Day Hill Climb at Bouley Bay.
Sixteen Sarnian car drivers and two riders made the trip over and between them posted a long list of class wins.
But nobody went more quickly than Saunders, who not only won the racing cars up to 1600cc category but claimed the fastest time of the day honours with a 41.47sec. on his second run of the day.
Saunders shared the Regnard single-seater with fellow Guernseyman Glenn Tanquerel and he finished second in class with a 42.45 to push Jerseyman Glyn Moignard into third.
Saunders left the Jersey hill more than satisfied given the cold and slippery conditions.
