Good and bad news as UK cabinet announced
Thursday 13th May 2010, 2:30PM BST.

Ken Clarke (left) has been appointed Justice Secretary while Vince Cable is the new Business Secretary.
POLITICAL and business experts have hailed the appointment of Ken Clarke as Justice Secretary as an excellent move for Guernsey.
The former Chancellor will head the Ministry of Justice, which has responsibility for acting as the political link between Guernsey and the UK.
Chief Minister Lyndon Trott met Mr Clarke at the Conservative party conference last year.
‘I think it is a very good appointment for the Crown Dependencies,’ he said. ‘I look forward to continuing our positive relationship with the Ministry of Justice in the weeks, months and years ahead.’
However, as new Prime Minister David Cameron revealed his cabinet yesterday, not all was positive for the island as tax avoidance critic Vince Cable was appointed Business Secretary.
He has been a fierce critic of offshore financial centres.
Deputy Trott said he had met Mr Cable and believed the MP’s view of the island had changed.
