Burglaries concentrate minds on security

RECENT burglaries in the western part of St Peter Port have forced residents to think again about security.
Ten properties near King’s Road and further north towards Courtil St Jacques have been broken into in the space of a month.
On each occasion access was gained through an unlocked door or window.
Police have been putting leaflets in houses in Route Isabelle to raise awareness.
Yesterday people who live there admitted the incidents were worrying.

Funny how you spot a convicted Burgler thats been inside for a while getting refused entrance into a local pub, and in the same week theres a massive spate of Burgleries in the same parish, maybe its just a coincidence but I bet when this individual is locked up again, there will be very little crimes like this commited again.
