OFFICIALS were forced into using a new track and pits layout for the final meeting of the autocross summer season due to the condition of the beach.

However, this did not stop Ozzy Ozanne winning the title from his first race.

He was joined in the race of firsts, which he elected to miss, by second-placed Billy Le Page, but Dean Leaver only made the seconds.

Linda Jones won the women’s title from Rachel Bihet, but Jodie Morant won the race from Marilyn Robilliard.

Third place in the team championship was decided in favour of the ASBO’s by a single point.
