Saturday 22nd May 2010, 2:29PM BST.
A WOMAN accused of stealing £4,000 from her former employer has been found guilty on three of the four charges.
Tracey Gallienne, of La Brigade Farm, Brigade Road, St Sampson’s, faced four separate charges of stealing £1,000 between 14 February and 6 July 2008.
Judge Russell Finch and nine jurats heard that while Mrs Gallienne worked as a secretary/administrator for Havilland Management Ltd, she cashed four cheques but either kept the money at her home until questioned or failed to put it into the company’s petty cash tin.
The jurats found her not guilty, by a majority of five to four, on the first charge and guilty on the remaining three by a majority of seven to two.
Sentencing was adjourned for probation reports.
