Allen’s trophy double

ROSS ALLEN is Guernsey’s footballer of the year.

The striker (pictured) received the award at the Rangers’ end-of-season presentation dinner at the Old Government House Hotel on Saturday night.

He also collected the club’s own player of the year trophy.

Meanwhile, at the Belgraves annual dinner, Matt Drillot collected the island’s senior players’ player-of-the-year award.

At the same gathering Jarrod Avery won the veterans individual trophy
