MORE than 200 runners took part in the RG Falla Quarter Marathon to raise money for Help a Guernsey Child yesterday.
Competitors set off from Vazon at 10.30am and ran to L’Eree and back.
The event was open to individuals and teams.
Teacher Karen Robinson, 50, was taking part and said the race should not present a huge challenge after some of the other events she has taken part in.
‘I did the London Marathon so it will be nice not to have to run quite so far. It’s not so hard on the legs.’
