Priaulx is still the man to beat

SIX down, a mere 16 to go.
It is too early to talk world titles and, in Andy Priaulx’s case, that would represent a record fourth WTCC drivers’ championship, but if Monza proved anything it is that the Guernseyman is again a serious title contender – and he can hardly wait to get to Zolder in Belgium, in a month’s time.
Winning race one, albeit in a slightly fluky manner, bumped him up to third place in the standings.
Rob Huff subsequently pushed him back down to fourth with his points haul in race two won by Yvan Muller, but the Guernseyman is just two points adrift of second and 24 off the leader, Muller.
