First of a kind in CI

ORGANISERS are preparing for next month’s inaugural Salerie Sprint after receiving confirmation from the Royal Court that it can take place.
The two-day event will be held on the weekend of 19 and 20 June, using the whole car park at the Salerie Corner.
The course will be approximately 400 yards long, with bikes racing on the Saturday followed by the karts the following day.
With the majority of motor racing in Guernsey focusing on higher speeds, Guernsey Kart and Motor Club president Peter Jory (pictured) believes this racing will offer something different to the norm.
