COBO have once again been crowned as Guernsey’s weekend champions.
Stuart Le Prevost’s men inflicted a first Wave Telecom GCA Championship defeat of the season on Wanderers in a rain-reduced game at the KGV on Saturday to finish their own campaign with a 100% winning record.
‘Obviously it is always a good feeling to win any competition and, as defending champions, we were always keen to retain this title,’ said the Cobo captain.
‘To have a trophy on the shelf by the end of May is a great way to start our season and now we can focus our full attention on the CI League.’
