Prince crowned as May’s FOM winner

Harry Prince had the best fish, his cuckoo wrasse of 1-12-7 scored 84.41% and gave him the Shakespeare monthly award for the top overall specimen and the Boat Exchange tankard for the best boat fish.
The shore-caught winner was Matt Mahy. His 1-13-13 three-bearded rockling was worth 60.84% and won him the J. Meerveld and Sons tankard.
The two runner-up prizes of Randalls Breda lager went to Venu Le Noury’s 21-0-0 boat-caught turbot, 69.42% and Richard Sherriton, who had entered a 2-9-10 pout while out with Richard Keen over the cement wreck in the Little Russel. It scored a credible 73.26%.
