Long Port sues Royal construction manager
Saturday 12th June 2010, 2:30PM BST.
THE Long Port Group is suing the construction management company responsible for its Royal Terrace and Royal Chambers projects for £64m.
A Long Port spokesman said the company’s claims via subsidiary Jubilee for compensation against the Capita Group were for ‘delays caused and other losses’.
The state-of-the-art Royal Chambers building on St Julian’s Avenue was finished a year late and opened in November last year.
The Long Port Group is already involved in legal proceedings with Capita and its subsidiary Woolf Ltd over the troubled projects.
