Vale demands action to end Mont Cuet nuisance

VALE douzaine has had enough of the terrible smell and wind-blown rubbish from Mont Cuet and has broken its silence over the ‘unacceptable nuisance’ of the landfill.
Senior constable Nick Le Messurier said the parish was extremely concerned as the landfill site neared full capacity and said the douzaine would simply not accept it getting any larger.
But, while sympathising with Vale residents, Public Services has confirmed reports that the tip will rise to a dome.
