THE first inter-island conference for Victim Support has been held in Guernsey and delegates said it will help them improve services.
Delegates from Guernsey, Jersey and the Isle of Man met at Les Cotils yesterday to discuss how they provided services in each island and shared best practice.
The last national conference was in 2007 and Victim Support Guernsey chairman Robin Fuller said they wanted to hold inter-island meetings so the Crown Dependencies charities did not become isolated.
The charities are hoping to stage an inter-island conference annually or every two years.
