Find-the-cash rule is being prepared

RULES governing how politicians place amendments to the States Strategic Plan could become more like Jersey’s.
It follows an amendment to the States Assembly and Constitution Committee’s report on changes to rules and procedures in April’s States meeting.
The assembly voted in favour of Chief Minister Lyndon Trott’s, pictured, proposal that members wanting to amend the States Strategic Plan would have to show where the money to fund the changes would come from.
