Clipper could be out of action for three weeks

THE Commodore Clipper may be out of action for three weeks after fire and smoke damaged its freight deck.
Condor’s general manager Yan Milner said the damage was being inspected and a firmer timescale and costs could not yet be given.
‘Where the fire was there was a lot of electrical cabling and hydraulics, and we will have to replace that,’ he said.
The experience would prepare Condor in case anything similar happened again, he said.
