IT WAS an emotional morning for Island FM’s Richard Harding yesterday as he presented his final breakfast show.

The DJ is leaving the island as his housing licence has expired. However, he will never be too far away and plans to return for a holiday in August.

After three-and-a-half years of early starts, he is returning to the UK.

He is the second longest running breakfast show presenter after Kevin Stewart, which he said was an honour.

‘I feel really humbled that the island has taken me to its heart,’ said the 45-year-old, who moved to Guernsey five years ago.
