A STATES sub-group has just completed its 60th visit to local businesses.
The Business Guernsey Group, part of the Commerce and Employment Department, has reached the milestone in little over a year and did so with a fact-find to the OGH Hotel.
Robert Sillars, chairman of the group, said the meetings had tried to encompass as many sectors of local business as possible and have included trips to companies in finance, hospitality, construction, travel and transport, retail, horticulture and legal firms.
‘The business visits programme is just one part of what the Business Guernsey Group does, but it’s a very important part,’ said Deputy Sillars.
