Ship sink Titans in thriller

THE match of the year and three wide open league title races are the conclusion of the most unpredictable week imaginable in the softball arena.
The men’s league, as well as both Co-ed Division One and Division Two have a maximum of one win separating the top two sides, with the coming days and weeks suddenly seeing a stack of potential title-deciding clashes.
One of those has already happened, when two of the three men’s title wannabes clashed last Sunday.
The Ship and Crown had already thrashed bottom team Centrals earlier in the week, so confidence was high ahead of their clash with table-toppers Titans.
Nothing less than a win would do for the Ship and they duly obliged, winning an absolute thriller 24-23.
