Guitarist’s broken hand wins Chris a spot at Glastonbury
Friday 25th June 2010, 2:29PM BST.
MUSICIAN Chris Taylor will be playing at Glastonbury this weekend after a last-minute call.
The 41-year-old (pictured), who returned to Guernsey last year from the UK, has been invited to play with his old group the Rabbit Foot Spasm Band after its guitarist broke his hand.
The group will be playing five gigs in four days at the world-famous music festival and it will be his first visit.
‘This all came a bit out of the blue for me,’ said the PEH health care records developer.
‘Their guitar player fell off the stage. I don’t know if it was during one of their gigs as he plays in another band as well.’
