Alice lands British title

ALICE LOVERIDGE is a British senior schools champion after an excellent Guernsey team performance in Ireland.
Over 150 players from around the UK did battle in Limerick over the weekend, with Loveridge also claiming a silver medal alongside Paula Le Ber in the under-18 girls team event.
Liam Robilliard and Olly Langlois also both claimed bronze medals, by reaching the semi-finals of the under-16 and under-18 events respectively.
But it was in the under-18 girls singles where Loveridge (pictured) earned her brilliant victory, beating her Welsh opponent in the final, despite actually being eligible to play in the under-16 event.
