MEMBERS of the Guille-Alles Library reading group will appear on national TV next month.

Channel 4 was filming its summer series of TV Book Club in the island on Saturday and producers asked the Guille-Alles club to get involved.

Ten members sat around a table at Fermain Valley Hotel to discuss the novel Ellis Island, by Kate Kerrigan. Cactus TV cameraman James Cook filmed their discussions.

Guille-Alles Library customer services librarian Ed Jewell was looking forward to seeing the show.

‘It’s just so fantastic and very exciting,’ he said.
